The telescopic camera EFIS 5 is an observation tool which was developed mainly for security applications : inspection of car bodies, parts of aircrafts, false ceilings in buildings, and all places which are difficult to reach for visual inspection.

It is ideal for use by police, customs, or special forces, for search of fire arms, explosive devices, contraband, or criminal suspects.

The system is highly versatile, comprising an infrared illumination, a 4 m telescopic pole and a motorized control of the camera. The displayed image is viewed on a compact monitor which is fixed on the pole.

The device is powered by a rechargeable battery module which is screwed at the end of the telescopic pole.
